GRADUATES
Valerie C. Rodgers of Pittsburgh graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in international business, business marketing, and a minor in economics from Duquesne University.
While at Duquesne, she was on the dean's list, served as president of the American Marketing Association, was the dean of the Business School Caucus and was the vice president of the Student Executive Committee.
As a senior, she received the Outstanding Student Organization Leader of the Year award.
She had internships with Anthropologie and the Bank of New York Mellon and studied abroad in Rome and Beijing.
Rodgers is employed as a health care market specialist for Bank of New York Mellon in Pittsburgh.
She is a 2009 graduate of Butler High School and the daughter of George and Catherine Rodgers of Fenelton and Kathleen Wilbert Rodgers of Chicora.
