Brooke Ealey of St. Louis received a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
Ealey is working in a neuroscience research laboratory at Washington University in St. Louis while applying to medical schools.
She is a 2010 Karns City High School graduate and the daughter of Terry and Cathy Ealey of Karns City.

Bradley Allen Swartzlander of Butler was recognized as a distinguished military graduate when he received a bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, in criminology from Indiana (Pa.) University.He also received a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.Following his basic officer leadership course at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., Swartzlander will be assigned to the 385th Military Police Battalion stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga.He is a 2011 graduate of Butler High School and the son of Ted and Debbie Swartzlander of Butler.—–—Lucas Lyerly of Butler received a degree from Coastal Carolina University, Conway, S.C.
