Sarah Getsay Geesey

Sarah Marie Getsay Geesey of Butler received a bachelor’s degree in nursing, summa cum laude, from Drexel University. She graduated with a 3.9 GPA, the highest in her graduating class. She received the Student Award for Highest Academic Achievement.

She also completed U.S. Army ROTC and received a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps on June 12.

Geesey is a 2011 graduate of Butler High School. She is the wife of Zachary Geesey and the daughter of Amy and Tim Monfre and Matthew and Heather Getsay of Butler.
