One person was to be life-flighted to a hospital after a dump truck overturned Tuesday afternoon in a rock quarry at Wiest Asphalt Products & Paving in Summit Township.

Saxonburg Ambulance transported the driver of the tri-axle dump truck to Butler Memorial Hospital, where the person would be taken by helicopter to another hospital, according to officials at the scene.

The dump truck could be seen on its side at the 310 Mitchell Hill Road business.

Lick Hill Volunteer Fire Department, East Butler Volunteer Fire Department, Butler Township Volunteer Fire District and Saxonburg Ambulance responded to the scene.
