Michelle Cicero of Washington, Pa., received a juris doctor of law degree, cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law.
She was senior staff editor for the Duquesne Law Review and received the Dr. John E. Murray Jr. Outstanding Writing Award.
Cicero graduated from Butler High School in 1999. She received a bachelor's degree from Allegheny College in 2003 and a master's degree from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in 2007.
She is employed by Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth and Families.
Cicero is the daughter of Stephen and Cecelia Cicero of Butler.

Michael Slomer of Philadelphia graduated from St. Joseph's University with a bachelor's of business administration in food marketing.
He is a sales analyst with Smithfield Foods in Hamilton, N.J.
Slomer is a 2010 graduate of Knoch High School and the son of Paul and Nicole Slomer of Butler.
