Graduates
Kristie Shulsky graduated summa cum laude from Indiana (Pa.) University and was awarded a doctor of education in administrative leadership with a superintendent’s letter of eligibility.
Shulsky earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and an English certificate from Slippery Rock University. She received a master’s degree in educational leadership and a principal K-12 certificate from Carlow University.
She has been a principal in the Slippery Rock School District for nine years. During her tenure as the high school principal, Shulsky earned the 2015 National Blue Ribbon Schools Award, and the high school was a recipient of the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Academics in the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 school years.
Shulsky received the 2015 Slippery Rock University Distinguished Alumni Award, and she was the recipient of the 2013 Indiana (Pa.) University Foundation Doctoral Fellowship. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Golden Key International Honor Society.
Shulsky lives in Harmony with her husband, Terry, and their two sons.
