State Rep. Tim Bonner, R-8th, is inviting Mercer and Butler county residents to attend a senior breakfast from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 24 at the Mercer County Career Center, 776 Greenville Road, Mercer.

“I am looking forward to personally meeting with constituents from my district to discuss issues important to them and to our Commonwealth. Listening to the concerns of our citizens and finding answers to their questions are a significant part of the job duties of an elected official,” Bonner said.

Attendees will receive information regarding nursing home financial planning, the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program, unclaimed property, discount vehicle registrations for retired individuals and other programs and services.

“The costs of nursing home care can deplete a citizen's assets earned over a lifetime of hard work. I look forward to explaining how assets can lawfully be protected from the high cost of nursing home care,” said Bonner.
