Slain Saxonburg police chief to be honored May 18
Saxonburg Police Chief Gregory B. Adams
Slain Saxonburg Police Chief Gregory Adams will be honored Friday, May 18, when a portion of Butler Street will be dedicated as “Chief Gregory B. Adams Way.”
Adams was killed in the line of duty Dec. 4, 1980.
The ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Roebling Park in Saxonburg in conjunction with National Police Week to honor Adams and all fallen law enforcement officers.
