E.Butler gets by Kiski

East Butler used some extra frames to put away Kiski 5-3 Tuesday at Kiski High School in Butler County American Legion action.

Jeremy Moorhead scored on an error to break the tie in the top of the 10th.

East Butler plated its other three runs in the first inning.

Garret Goslow doubled in a run for East Butler. He also scored on an error.

Alex Seybert doubled, while Moorhead (two), Brandon Hildebrand (two), DJ Osche and Tyler Markilinsky also contributed singles for East Butler. Seybert also fanned seven batters, while Moorhead struck out five.

Meridian 3, Center Township 1 — Nick Robinson struck out 12 batters and pitched a complete game to help Meridian take down Center Township at Highfield Park.

Zach Kozlowski and Ryan Bargo both collected singles and RBIs for Meridian. Justin Rickert and Zach Henderson also doubled for Meridian.

Dave Dimun doubled and singled for Center Township, while Adam Voelker and Dominic DeAngelo singled.

West Sunbury 4, Mars 1 — Josh McBride went 2 for 4 to help West Sunbury.

Brendon Stamm limited Mars to two hits. Aaron Marterella drove in a run for and two runs scored on a groundout by Jake McBride.
