BUFFALO — Multiple fire crews responded to a house fire that killed a dog Friday evening.

Emergency dispatch radio about 3:40 p.m. stated that a home on Parker Road in the township caught fire.

While no human injuries were reported, a dog in the home has died, according to Mike George the fire chief of Sarver Volunteer Fire Department.

Fire departments from Sarver, Freeport, Buffalo Township, and Harrison Hills of Allegheny County responded to the call.

No other information was immediately available.
