College Notes

Barbie Cessar (Slippery Rock) took second place in the 100-meter breaststroke and 200 individual medley in Penn State Behrend's 270-136 women's swimming loss to Allegheny.

Steph Croll (Slippery Rock) shot a 97 for Grove City in the first round of the PAC Championships, good for 16th at the tourney's midway point.

Jessee Clary (Cranberry Twp., Eden Christian) had three hits for Grove City in the Wolverines' 11-4 baseball win over Westminster.

Cami McNany (A-C Valley) had a double, single and RBI for Penn State Behrend in a 9-1 softball win over La Roche in the first game of a doubleheader. She had a single and RBI in the 4-3 win in the nightcap.

Ryan Greer (Seneca Valley) scored a school-record 14 points, including a school-record 10 assists, in Westminster's 28-7 men's lacrosse win over Thiel.

Matt Karanbauer (Knoch) swam a leg of Penn State Behrend's winning 400 medley relay against Allegheny. He also took second in the 100 IM.

Dalton Anderson (Moniteau) won the 110 meter hurdles, took second in the high jump and ran a leg of the winning 4x100 relay with

Jacob Patton (Moniteau) for Westminster in a track and field meet at Grove City.

Ashleigh Schmidt (Freeport) tossed a complete game in leading Penn State Behrend's women's softball team to a 5-1 win over Pitt-Bradford and a sweep of their Sunday doubleheader.
