Ex-school board member joins SV Foundation board
JACKSON TWP — The nonprofit Seneca Valley Foundation recently appointed former school board member Jason Wehrle to its board of directors.
Wehrle, a Cranberry Township resident, left the school board several months ago after deciding against running for another four-year term.
He will join more than a dozen people on the board of directors, which is made up of district administrators, current and former school board members and community members.
The school board created the Seneca Valley Foundation in 2012 as a way for alumni and community members to give back to the district in the form of charitable giving.
All the money raised goes to student scholarships, capital projects, classroom programs and other items in the Seneca Valley School District.
Wehrle is an attorney with a law firm in Pittsburgh.
