Butler Area School District’s Distinguished Graduate Steering Committee has begun the process of selecting a past graduate from Butler High School to receive the Distinguished Graduate Award.

People who know a graduate who has achieved something outstanding in their chosen profession or has made contributions to the community, state or nation are invited to make a nomination. Forms for nominations are available on the district’s website under “Quick Links” or at any school office.

The nomination deadline for this distinguished award is March 1. The selected candidate of the Distinguished Graduate Award will be announced in May, and will be invited to speak at the Top Ten Percent Recognition Ceremony and invited to attend commencement.
