Bridge replacement plans to be discussed at meeting
JEFFERSON TWP — The state Department of Transportation next week will display plans for three bridge replacement projects in Butler County.
They are: the Saxonburg Boulevard bridge over Bull Creek in Clinton Township, the Cruikshank Road bridge over a tributary to Glade Run in Middlesex Township, and Caldwell Drive bridge over a tributary to Thorn Creek in Jefferson Township.
Each of the bridge replacement projects is expected to cost at least $1 million.
The meeting will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the South Butler County School District, 328 Knoch Road, Saxonburg.
It will provide the public an opportunity to review and to comment on the projects to PennDOT Representatives.
PennDOT requests anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project areas should attend the meeting.
