The Ellwood City home and gardens of Ivor and Gladys Rorquist were featured this summer in a tour by the Ellwood City Area Historical Society. Following extensive remodeling of their 1924 brick home, the couple created a courtyard based upon gardens Ivor had admired during trips to Europe. Beside the potted plants and brickwork seen in this photograph, the garden also features a fish pond, an oak leaved hydrangea, a giant holly tree and a vegetable garden.
