Traffic along a stretch of Route 8 near Litman Road in Butler Township is down to one lane in both directions as crews continued road work this morning. The state Department of Transportation's $411,000 project will repair an arch culvert carrying the road over Butcher Run. The project, which also will make other repairs to the road, is expected to be completed in September. C.H. & D. Enterprises of New Stanton is the contractor for the project.
