$10K pledged for July 4 fireworks in Butler
The Independence Day fireworks show in Butler is a go for 2017.
Mayor Tom Donaldson has told the Butler Eagle that $10,000 has been pledged for the annual show — contributions of $5,000 each from XTO Energy and Peoples TWP. Both companies sponsored the fireworks show at Kelly Automotive Park last July 4.
Donaldson said he hasn’t heard back yet from another 2016 sponsor, Pennsylvania American Water, but expects to soon.
