MARSHALL TWP. Allegheny County — Police have released the identity of a Cranberry Township man killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer last week.

Northern Regional police say a vehicle driven by Michael H. Celender, 53, went under a tractor-trailer at around 1:30 a.m. Dec. 27. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Celender was southbound on Route 19, according to police, and the tractor-trailer was turning left from Thorn Hill Road to northbound Route 19, about a mile south of Cranberry.

Celender was taken to the medical examiner’s office from the scene of the collision. The accident remains under investigation, according to police.
