Harvest time on the farm
Terry Foertsch (left), his dad, Vernon and children, Timothy, 11, and Granite, 15, of Saxonburg recently cut about 1 1/2 acres of oats with an old-fashion grain binder on Guy Daubenspeckís farm in Connoquennessing Twp. The Foertsch family and others will be separating the straw and chaff from the grain using a threshing machine at this year's farm show.
