The winners of Friday’s McKean Street Porch Halloween and Fall Decorating Contest have been announced.
The Gasdia family — Christina, Joe, and Braxton — of 716 North McKean Street and Nicole Laman of 434 North McKean Street were named this year’s winners.
Laman explained that her husband had recently passed away, and he loved Halloween, so she decorated and entered the contest in his memory. The judging for the contest was done by Troop and Pack 6 families of Scouting America, chartered by the Rotary Club of Butler.
Winners of the contest received gift certificates to Upper Crust and Grows on Main, compliments of Butler Downtown.
