Tuesday Slippery Rock Borough meeting canceled

SLIPPERY ROCK — A borough council meeting on Tuesday was canceled due to lack of a quorum. A majority of council members, or a quorum, must legally be present at the meeting to take actions or discuss borough matters.
Council President John Hicks and council members Lauren Christmann, Denton Zeronas and Alex Tuten were absent at the meeting.
Tuesday’s agenda items, including work on next year’s budget and meeting calendar, will tentatively roll over to the borough’s next scheduled meeting on Nov. 3.
