Buffalo Township and state police are at the scene of a shooting in which a woman was injured on Route 356 at Freeport Transport Industries.

Police have issued an alert for a red Chevy Cruze that is possibly involved in a shooting that injured a woman on Route 356 at Freeport Transport Industries.

Buffalo Township and state police are at the scene of the shooting at 1200 Butler Street in Freeport.

Emergency scanner reports were received shortly after 3 p.m. about the incident with the request for a state police crime unit following at 3:41 p.m.

Scanner reports also said that the road Route 356 at Route 28 were going to be shut down.
