Kelly continues to support president over supporting the Constitution

Although I didn't vote for Mike Kelly during his first run for Congress based on his stance on abortion and Obamacare, I felt he was an honorable man and would do a good job. I was quickly disabused of that belief.

The list of times the Republican Congress deferred supporting the Constitution and doing the right thing to allowing President Donald Trump unfettered power is massive. Just a few of the most recent examples are destruction of the East Wing of the White House, childishly threatening to tear down the Kennedy Center unless his name is on it and proposing a 250-foot triumphal arch in Washington, D.C., as a military complex. Let us not forget rubber-stamping his choice for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, a man who had no experience or expertise in that field. Thanks to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s opinions, measles is now running rampant.

We outfit U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers with electric shock gloves. Mail-in voting is under threat because Trump didn't like the outcome in 2020. A Russian oligarch pays for his son’s wedding reception and the president accepts a gift of a $400 million plane from Qatar without question or an outcry for investigation from Republicans. The list goes on. And yet the Republican Congress and Mike Kelly continue to rubber stamp and look the other way.

Mike, you’ve disappointed me.
