Butler Township police have identified the two women injured in a head-on collision late Tuesday morning on the East Jefferson Street Bridge.

Lt. Matthew Pearson said Lisa Blake, 36, of Butler, was traveling west on Route 68 when her vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane of traffic and hit a vehicle driven by Susan Daniels, 64, of Chicora.

Both vehicles sustained heavy front end damage and were towed from the scene. Both women were airlifted to Pittsburgh-area hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries. Their conditions were not immediately available Tuesday afternoon.
