Toprani has led the Trojans to a 4-3 start overall and 4-0 mark atop the Allegheny 7 Conference. He’s in his first year starting for North Catholic after replacing the graduated Joe Felitsky.
The Trojans have hardly missed a bit with the QB exchange — they are averaging 35 points per game and have outscored conference opponents 178-71. Through the first five weeks of the season, Toprani was 67 of 106 passing for 1,076 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions (North Catholic stats for Weeks 6 and 7 were not provided as of Saturday). Those numbers, even without the past two weeks, rank at or near the top of the county.
According to his X account, Toprani received an offer Oct. 3 from W&J. He also had offer from Allegheny College.
