DORTMUND, Germany — Brazil loudly celebrated its 3-0 victory over Ghana, which despite the score provided a tough challenge for the five-time champions. Next up: a rematch of the 1998 final against France.

Ghana, making its first World Cup appearance, controlled possession and outshot the Brazilians 25-21.

But Brazil had Ronaldo.

Ronaldo netted his 15th World Cup goal in the fifth minute, putting him past German Gerd Mueller as the tournament's all-time leading scorer.
