Ethel F. Bertram of East Brady died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022.

Born July 7, 1935, in Crossingville, Pa., she was the daughter of William and Mary (Swaney) Fuller.

A 1954 graduate of Edinboro High School, Ethel was a homemaker.

In 1961, she married Ralph D. Bertram, and he preceded her in death in 2009.

Ethel was a member of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, and a member of the Rimersburg Senior Center.

She enjoyed letter writing, flower gardening, and taking care of her cats and her home.

She is survived by two daughters, Janet Saitherwaite of Indianapolis, Ind., and Sally Saunders and her husband, Tom, of Tucson, Ariz.; and one son, Scott and his wife, Danielle Bertram, of Connoquenessing.

She is also survived by one brother, George Fuller; and eight grandchildren.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

BERTRAM — At her request, there will be no services for Ethel F. Bertram, who died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022.

She will be buried in St. James Cemetery, Crossingville.

Arrangements are under the direction of BUECHELE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, East Brady.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ethel’s name to the East Brady Volunteer Fire Department, 101 Graham St., East Brady, PA 16028; or the Orphans of the Storm, 11878 State Route 85, Kittanning, PA 16201.
