DJ that is an interesting comment. I am not close enough to the situation anymore to know that. My son(ancient history) attended Butler some years ago and desire was not an issue. The coaches pushed each player according to how much the individual needed. Now the coaches can't really push or mommy and Daddy come flying to the rescue. Someone else commented that being a good player doesn't make one a good coach. This is true but it sure is a good head start. I think players give a former player more credit than they wouldsomeone that hasn't been a successful player.Time will tell. I just hope the Superintendents and the school board stay out of his way. His first act should be to hire ALL NEW COACHES. Wipe the slate clean and get a fresh positive attitude.
