PASSHE board approves state funding request to support tuition freeze
The board of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) has unanimously approved a request for a 5.5% increase in its 2027-28 state appropriation to enable a tuition freeze next fall for undergraduate, in-state students.
PASSHE also reported stable fall enrollment, giving the agency time to address the gradual decline in the population of high school graduates in the years ahead.
