NexTier Bank’s office off Route 422 East in Armstrong County experienced an “incident” requiring law enforcement intervention, according to a Thursday, Oct. 8, Facebook post.

The bank reported all its associates are safe and thanked local law enforcement for its quick response and the community for their thoughts and concern.

The NexTier branch affected, which is located at 105 Burton Drive, is temporarily closed. Customers can seek services at the downtown Kittanning and Ford City locations.

State police are investigating the incident.
