Dear Mama,

You taught us lessons filled with love,

And joy and laughter, too.

And any good we've ever done,

Was done because of you.

Throughout our lives we watched you,

And we learned from you each day.

You taught us to live Christ-filled lives.

And to always, always pray.

And then one day, your memory failed,

It was so hard to bear.

But your generous love went on and on,

You taught us how to care.

And then God called you to come Home,

He knew the time was right.

Somewhere inside, our hearts have dimmed,

You were our shining light.

But the legacy you left behind,

Will last our whole lives through.

The amazing love our family shares

Is our tribute of thanks to you.

We love and miss you so much.
