Staying course is wrong
I fought in the Korean War with the First Marine Division. People tell me that we did not win that war.
I tell them that if we Marines had gone all the way in, we would have been annihilated.
President Harry S. Truman saved our lives by telling our troops to stop at the Chosin Resevoir, and we did as Truman told us.
Meanwhile, about the Iraq War, it was a mistake from the beginning. Our troops were not told what was ahead of them. There was a lot of fabrication.
This is a no-win war. We must get our troops out of Iraq. Putting more troops in Iraq will only result in more deaths. The bombs killing our troops could become even more dangerous; many more troops could be killed.
The longer we stay the course, the more casualties we will have. It will be Vietnam all over again.
Staying the course is not the answer.
