State government announces investment in environmental education
The Pennsylvania government is investing more than $400,000 in environmental education projects across the state through the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Environmental Education Grants program.
According to the Shapiro administration, the DEP is accepting applications from schools, businesses, county conservation districts and nonprofit organizations for projects that help Pennsylvanians better understand and protect the environment.
Applications are open through Nov. 13. For more information and to apply, visit www.pa.gov/agencies/dep.
