BUTLER — Police arrested a woman overnight charged with stabbing a woman in the head with a screwdriver Tuesday afternoon.

Rachelle McMillan, 57, was taken into custody without incident by officers with the Butler City Police Department after investigators received numerous tips about her whereabouts.

McMillan was charged as a result of the attack, which happened at a West Wayne Street home. A witness told investigators McMillan stabbed the victim between five and six times in the head with a screwdriver.

Around 1:15 p.m., Butler City Police were dispatched to the home on the 200 block of West Wayne Street, where they found the victim, a 52-year-old Butler woman, with blood on her face and head.
