CRANBERRY TWP — Gov. Ed Rendell plans to make a budget-related announcement this morning at Westinghouse Electric Co.'s new headquarters.

Rendell's news conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Westinghouse complex here.

The company is in the process of moving its headquarters from Monroeville.

Rendell's top aides are scheduled to meet with him Wednesday about the budget.

The state is facing a $3.2 billion revenue shortfall for the budget year that ends June 30, and Rendell is expected to announce soon several hundred million dollars' worth of additional budget cuts to the spending plan he announced in February.
