Tree trimmer injured after making contact with power line
A medical helicopter was called for a member of a tree-trimming crew who was injured after making contact with a power line Monday, Oct. 5, in Clinton Township, according to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch recordings.
The incident happened around 10:45 a.m. along Deer Creek Road. Dispatch received a call that the crew thought a man had been shocked by the power line. Dispatchers said it appeared the employee made contact with the power line on his right thumb and was complaining of pain.
A medical helicopter was then called.
