Bryan Vavro of Butler received a bachelor’s degree in digital filmmaking and video production from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

While at the Art Institute, Vavro was on the dean’s list and president’s list and received the Student of the Quarter Award. He participated in the 48-Hour Film Project and his videos premiered at the “Best of Show” contest at the Harris Theater in Pittsburgh.

He graduated in 2009 from Butler High School and from Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School where he studied commercial art.

He is the son of Phillip and Karen Smaretsky-Vavro of Butler.
