Hutalski

Patricia Louise Hanson Hutalski, 65, of Shenango Township, New Castle, passed away at Butler Memorial Hospital Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loving family and friends.

Patty was born Feb. 3, 1961, in Sewickley, and was the daughter to Irvin Elmer Hanson and Eleanor Anna Louise Twigg Hanson. She graduated from North Allegheny High School in 1979.

She was a terrific homemaker, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a member of Portersville Bible Church, loved to crochet, going camping, ballroom dancing and spending time with family and friends. She worked at SAE in Warrendale from 1979-1990, raised her three daughters from 1991-2009, then worked at Manheim Cox Automotive Auction from January 2009-March 2025.

Survivors include three daughters, Anna L. (Mark) Drake of Portersville; Lillian R. (Lucas) Fleeger of Slippery Rock; Melanie J. (Brandon) Morrison of New Castle; three brothers, Harlan B. (Nancy) Hanson of Sarver; Duane A. (Karen) Hanson of Sarver; Brian E. Hanson of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; sister, Leanna M. (James) Zoeller of Volant; and grandchildren, Addison, Hazel, Anaiah, Obadiah and Theodore; numerous nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Frank T. Hutalski.

HUTALSKI — Family and friends of Patricia Louise Hanson Hutalski, who died Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, will gather from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St. Slippery Rock.

There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the Portersville Bible Church led by Pastor Chris Roberts with the family receiving the public at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 p.m.

Interment will be in the Portersville Bible Church Cemetery.
