Mable O. McQueeny

Mable O. McQueeny, 98, of Pine Township, Mercer County, formerly of Boyers, died at 2:50 a.m. Friday at Orchard Manor.

Born Nov. 11, 1908, in Rimersburg, she was the daughter of Elijah L. and Louise A. Phillips Simpson.

She was a member of Boyers United Methodist Church and was formerly active in church affairs.

She worked in the Moniteau school cafeteria office until retiring in 1975.

Surviving are a son, William L. McQueeny of Grove City; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence P. McQueeny, whom she married Oct. 6, 1926, and who died Dec. 19, 1985; four sisters; and six brothers.

<B>McQueeny</B> — Friends of Mable O. Simpson McQueeny, who died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kathleen S. Soltis of Boyers United Methodist Church officiating.Burial will be at RimersburgCemetery, Rimersburg.Memorial contributions may be made to Boyers United Methodist Church, P.O.
