Hodge 100th birthday
Irene Hodge, of Middlesex Township, will celebrate her 100th birthday Oct. 11 at a family dinner with close friends in Middlesex Township.
The former Irene Moore was born Oct. 8, 1926, in Greenock, Pa.
She married William Hodge on May 10, 1944, at St. Charles in Sutersville, Pa. He is deceased.
Hodge has two children, Joanne, of Middlesex Township, and the late Judith.
She also has three grandchildren, Taylor, Garrett and Nathan; and five great-grandchildren.
She was the arts and crafts director at St. John Specialty Care Home for 37 years.
She is a member of Holy Sepulcher Church of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, and is a member of the Holy Sepulcher Sociables.
She is a former member of the Richland Homemakers Club and a former longtime member of the Woman’s Club of Southern Butler County.
