A free CarFit Check is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, in the rear parking lot of the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.

CarFit is an educational program created by the American Society on Aging in collaboration with AARP and the American Occupational Therapy Association. It offers older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles “fit” them. The program provides information and materials on community-specific resources that could enhance their safety and increase their mobility in the community, said a news release from the township.

The event is free. For more information or schedule an appointment, contact the township police at 724-776-5180.
