Pennsylvania American Water customers in the Lyndora area experienced limited water service Sunday due to a water main break.

Early that morning, a more than 70-year-old, 12-inch cast iron water main broke, said company spokesman Gary Lobaugh. The main was located near the intersection of Whitestown Road and Armco Drive.

Lobaugh said he could not say how many customers were affected. Many customers experienced no water pressure or low water pressure.

Water service was affected until about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
