CRANBERRY TWP — An 18-month old girl was found unresponsive in her home at 118 Blue Ridge Drive this morning as police continue to investigate.

Township police and emergency medical personnel were called to the home at 9:24 a.m.

The initial report was that the child was found in a toy box, but police did not immediately confirm that report.

The child was treated at the scene by Cranberry Ambulance personnel and taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry for further treatment.

Police said there is no word at this time on the child's condition.
