September is National College Savings Month.

The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency and the Pennsylvania Treasury Department are encouraging families to take advantage of upcoming free webinars on the financial aid process and how to start saving early with the PA 529 College and Career Savings Program and Keystone Scholars.

Financial Aid 101 is a free webinar hosted by Wendy Dunlap of the PHEAA. Information presented will include the financial aid application process, the types of aid available to students and strategies to start thinking about affordability before applying for admission.

The webinar will be held at noon Friday, Oct. 2. Registration is required.
