NEW CASTLE — Jameson Hospital in New Castle says threats of the flu virus have caused it to temporarily suspend visiting hours.

Hospital staff will work with families who must attend to relatives at the hospital, but otherwise the hospital is urging visitors to stay away for now.

According to a news release on its Web site, the hospital ban on visitors includes the emergency department and surgical areas.

HARRISBURG — After Adam Grove had his custom motorcycle helmet stolen, he turned to eBay.Turns out, so did the thief.Grove went to the online auction site looking for a replacement, but he became suspicious when he noticed the seller lived near where the helmet was stolen. The thief had clipped the cable lock lashing the helmet to the handlebars when the bike was parked outside a Mechanicsburg restaurant in August 2006.Grove outbid another suitor, offering $139, and called police.Jurors last month convicted Christopher J. Blatnik, 23, of theft. He had claimed he had found the helmet while jogging at 1 a.m.However, Grove can't wear the helmet just yet — it's sitting in an evidence room until Blatnik's appeals end.
