Allegheny County deputy sheriff faces drug charges
PITTSBURGH — An Allegheny County deputy sheriff is suspended and facing drug charges after police say he bought cocaine.
Forty-four-year-old Guy Granata is charged with possessing and purchasing cocaine and disorderly conduct.
Collier Township police arrested the 18-year veteran Tuesday night.They say he bought less than $100 worth of drugs.
Sheriff William Mullen suspended Granata without pay pending further investigation.
