Defense rests case in Cyril Wecht trial
PITTSBURGH — Testimony has ended in the federal corruption trial of celebrity pathologist Cyril Wecht after the defense rested its case without calling any witnesses.
Prosecutors rested their case after calling their final six witnesses Tuesday morning.
Wecht has been on trial for more than six weeks on charges that he used his public office for private gain.
