TURTLE CREEK — Police say a man buried the body of his female housemate at the home they shared after she apparently died about four years ago.

The body of 70-year-old Mary Whetsell was discovered in a shallow grave at the Turtle Creek home over the weekend.

Police said Whetsell's estranged son recently came looking to patch things up with her after 20 years. Police say Whetsell's housemate told them she didn't have insurance, so he buried her in the yard.

BOSWELL — An Indiana County truck driver is accused of avoiding more than a half-million dollars in tolls by using a stolen E-ZPass transponder.State Police say 38-year-old Thomas Howard Wambold, of Blairsville, used the E-ZPass more than 1,200 times between September 2005 and March.
