Counterfeiter gets 30 months
PITTSBURGH — A Butler County woman has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for making counterfeit money.
Federal prosecutors say 41-year-old Margaret Jurysta of Butler Township made about $2,000 in counterfeit currency in November 2005.
Prosecutors say Jurysta passed and tried to use the fake money at a convenience store in Butler about a month later.
Jurysta pleaded guilty in April.
