BEAVER FALLS — A fire marshal is investigating a blaze that heavily damaged a church that's more than 100 years old and three other buildings.

The Otterbein United Methodist Church in Beaver Falls will be razed and three other buildings are a total loss. Officials say the total value is about $2 million.

The fire started about 2 a.m. Wednesday in the rear of one of the adjacent buildings then spread to the others and the church.

At least eight people were displaced by the fire, which also delayed local schools two hours due to heavy traffic.
